History: Melaleuca alternifolia has been used for centuries by the native Aborigines in Australia for its many natural benefits. Extensively researched and studied, tea tree has well supported claims for its therapeutic actions of anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and anti-viral. Tea Tree has gained global recognition and is a staple ‘first aid’ oil in many homes as a leading natural alternative for its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties.

PROPERTIES
For Skin & haircare: Tea tree helps to soothe and help clear acneic, oily and congested skin. As a first aid for minor cuts, athletes foot, fungal infections, blisters, scratches, insect bites and cold sores. Always dilute tea tree before use. In hair care, it may help to control dandruff when a few drops are added to shampoo.

For Personal care: Considered to be a “first aid kit in a bottle” for a range of temporary applications. Diffuse or use as a room spray to cleanse, clear and disinfect the environment.
